im 17 years old, and i wish to live alone in romania. I live in malta so were in the EU. So do i need a romanian visa to live there and what other requirements do i need to live there? There is no real purpose, i just want to live in and work in different places around the world and i decided to start with romania since its a bit of challenge.

Yes, you need a romanian visa and work permit. If you wanna live there for few months you can go through tourist visa

Yes, you need a visa. I recommend you become a architect or a agent in Romania. Right now those are the best easy jobs you can get, you know what I mean. You should get a working permit if you want to work here. If you plan on staying a few months as the person above said you should get a tourist visa. Requirement: A good education and some money(try 60to 200 thousand euros since you are living alone). Good luck!

If you're a EU citizen then you don't need visa or work permit. You'll have the same rights like any other romanian citizen. If you go to Romania I recommend you to go to Cluj-Napoca - a city full of youths..
