well? it depends on your standards. it's enough to live decent without any exaggeration.I am from Romania and my salary is 250$/month.I am a teacher and ...I live decent, not bad but not very well.If there was 500$ then yes, that's enough to live well. :)

It's not at all a very good salary, but it's OK; however, if you plan to live in one of the larger cities (Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara, Iasi etc) and you don't already have a place to stay, it's going to be very hard to find something to rent with that money (for instance, in Bucharest the rent for a single room apartment -studio- starts at about $210).
